RESERVATION POLICIES

  • If you plan to arrive before 3:00 pm, if your room is ready we will be glad to welcome you to the inn, if your room is not ready, we will be more than happy to store your luggage.
  • If you plan to arrive after 8:30 pm, please call us at 707-786-4000 so that we may coordinate your check-in with our overnight manager.
  • Check-out time is 11:00am.
One Night Deposit Required at Time of Booking
  • At time of booking, we require a credit card deposit equal to the first night’s stay, plus tax.
  • At check-in, you will be charged the remainder of your stay.
  • All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card regardless of how the final payment will be made.
  • If paying with cash, a deposit equal to the room, tax and $100 per day towards incidentals will be collected.
  • Please notify the hotel prior to arriving if you intend to pay for your stay with a gift certificate.
  • Holidays, special events and group bookings have separate deposit and cancellation policies; please contact the inn directly for detail.
Seven Day Cancellation Policy
  • If you cancel your reservation seven days or more prior to your arrival date, your initial deposit will be refunded minus a $25 processing fee.
  • If you cancel your reservation within seven days of your arrival date, or fail to cancel your reservation and fail to arrive, you will forfeit your deposit and be charged for all nights included in your original reservation

  • Please Allow 7 to 10 business days for a refund to be applied to your card. This time frame is dictated by banks and we have no power over this part of the transaction.

Group Reservations: Three or more rooms, either booked together or individually by parties travelling together, constitutes a group reservation. Group reservations may require payment at the time of booking and a 45-day cancellation policy. These policies supersede policies shown on an individually booked reservation. If you, or the parties you are travelling with, reserve three or more rooms, you will be contacted and a contract will be required.

Holiday or Special Event Periods: Reservations during special event or holiday periods are subject to a longer cancellation policy. Should you not cancel your reservation within the specified timeframe, you will be charged for all nights of your original reservation. Additionally, a minimum night stay may be required, and early departures will be charged for the original reservation.

Extended Stays & Early Departure Policy
  • Reservations for seven days or more are subject to pre-payment of the entire amount at the lime of reservation.
  • A 14 day cancellation policy applies on extended stays.
  • For all reservations cancelled 14 days or more before the date of arrival, your deposit will be refunded minus a $25 processing fee.
  • Cancellations within 14 days of arrival, will forfeit 50% of the entire amount of the stay, plus tax.
  • Once checked-in, early departures are charged for the entire length of the original reservation.
Occupancy Tax
  • Transient occupancy tax is charged on the room rate only.
  • Gingerbread Mansion Inn does not require or assess any additional fees at this hotel such as a resort or amenity tax.
Reservations Made Through Online Third Party Agencies Such As Expedia.com or Booking.com
  • We highly recommend that you reserve directly with the inn to receive the best rate, however you may use third-party agents such as Expedia.com.
  • Should you need to cancel or modify your reservation, you must do so through their website.
  • If we need to contact you about important information regarding your reservation, we will be unable to do so as only the online travel agent has your contact information.

Guest Identification Required
  • Guests are required to present a valid identification at check-in that matches the name on the reservation as well as the credit card used to pay for the guestroom.
Smoke-Free Inns
  • Gingerbread Mansion Inn is 100% smoke-free.
  • If smoking occurs, there will be a $200 cleaning fee per night added to your folio.
Additional Guests
  • Room rates are based on single or double occupancy. If there is a third guest staying in the room, there will be a $45 +tax extra person nightly charge.
  • If you would like to have any non-registered guests join you for breakfast there is an additional charge of $28 per person, and advance notice to the innkeeper is required.
  • We have rollaway beds available, some rooms can accommodate a rollaway bed, please refer to the room detail page on our website.
  • Not all rooms can accommodate a rollaway bed or an extra person.
Children Policy
  • Gingerbread Mansion Inn is regarded as a quiet escape and romantic getaway for most of our guests, and we work hard to foster that environment. Our inn has alcohol in the common areas for our guests’ consumption, to foster children’s safety, as much as we love children, it is not an appropriate place for children under 10.
Photography & Outside Guests
  • While we understand that our grounds and home are the perfect setting for your photographs, we do not allow outside photographers or group/family/graduation/wedding/etc. photographs without prior permission of the Innkeeper, and only if no guests are staying at the Inn. A $100/hour fee for use of the grounds will be charged and payable at the beginning of the session. Guests who are not staying in a room at the Inn are strictly forbidden from entering the Inn or the garfen. To insure privacy, photographs of our guests are not permitted without their prior permission. Persons found to be on property taking personal photographs without permission or enjoying our facilities without being a guest, will be considered trespassers and subject to the penalties of that violation.
Damage Policy
  • While reasonable wear and tear is anticipated, negligent damages found to be the responsibility of a guest will be assessed and charged to the guest. Please report all spills and/or damages to the innkeepers promptly.
Dog Policy
  • We do not have dog-friendly guestroom at the inn.
  • A service animal, as acknowledged by the American with Disabilities Act, is welcome to accompany their owner while staying at the inn. Please present proper documents upon check in.
Front Desk Hotel Safe Available
  • We are not responsible for any items or valuables left in the guestroom.
  • Upon checkout, the guestroom will be inspected for missing items. A replacement fee will be charged for items missing from the guestroom.
Accessibility
  • We have had our property inspected by a California Certified Access Specialist.
  • We have undertaken extensive upgrades to bring the property into compliance with the ADA.
  • Our Gingerbread Mansion Inn has a lift from the street to the first floor of the building.
  • Our Gingerbread Mansion Suite is a full wheelchair friendly room.
